Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run

Peace Run banner

The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run is a global torch relay seeking to inspire the creation of a more peaceful world. As a symbol of peace and harmony, runners carry a flaming torch, passing it from hand to hand, heart to heart.

In 2019, for the first time, the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run will encircle the entire globe in a calendar year. The Peace torch leaves Cape Reianga on the 4th of March and enters Stewart Island on the 29th of March.

Downlights Fundraising is a supporter of the Peace Run. Downlights fundraising candles are created in New Zealand by people with Down Syndrome as a fundraising tool for good causes. These handcrafted renewable soy candles come in three amazing fragrances and are the perfect gift and treat with $5 from each candle going to your good cause.

Emma from Downlights, who has Down Syndrome, will be running in the Peace Run on Friday the 8th of March, in Auckland. Way to go, Emma!

If you would like to have a Downlights Fundraisier at your school please contact 0800 272 473 or visit peacerun.org/nz for more information on Peace Run.
